Designed to last, made to live with

Rahmt is a Copenhagen-based design studio creating mirrors, magnetic steel boards, and storage mirrors in solid oak. Each piece is handmade with splined mitre joints and finished with an oil and protective lacquer, made to bring natural warmth and character to your home for years to come.

Two finishes, one material

All products are available in natural oak and dark oak. Natural oak has a light, open grain that suits bright, minimal interiors. Dark oak is treated with a darker oil that brings out the grain and suits warmer, moodier spaces. Both finishes are protected with a matte lacquer for easy cleaning.

Handmade with considered details

Rahmt was founded by Bella Holst Jerichau, who trained in carpentry before starting her own workshop. Today she runs the studio with her brother-in-law Walter, also carpenter-trained. Every frame is made with splined mitre joints, a traditional joinery technique that gives the corners their clean, precise finish. Each product comes with a drilling template for straightforward mounting.
